Does anyone know what restaurants in London and the UK have appeared in movies or on television?
So far I have: was used the National Portrait Gallery restaurant in 'Closer'. La Brasserie Max at the Covent Garden Hotel was used in 'Match Point', Oriel in Sloane Square was in Four Weddings and a Funeral, Charlotte St Bertorellis also appears on sliding doors … more?
There are just so many! In about a Boy Will continues his disastrous dates in Otto's dining room in Maida Vale. In Bridget Jones's Diary, Bridget and her colleagues went to Momo, 25 Heddon Street. It's just off Regent Street. The Royal Oak bar in Columbia Road, Hackney, was used in two films – the Krays and Guy Ritchie, Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels. Four Weddings And it also appears that then a dome restaurant in Covent Garden (it's now Cafe Rouge) – was the scene where Carrie catalogs of their sexual history! There is a great book can be purchased, if you want to find some locations more than film – called The Worldwide Guide to Movie Locations Presents London and Amazon sells.
